Tribute to Larry Brown's Sixers
We’ll always have a special place in our heart for the Philadelphia 76ers. It’s not just because Barkley used to play for the team. And it’s not just because Philadelphia is where we first started keeping tabs on Raja Bell’s haircuts. It’s because Philly fans are gangsta and will boo down anything and anyone, including hometown homeboy Kobe Bryant – and we’re talking back in the day in 2001, before everyone else started booing that fool. (Philadelphia even gave him the boo at the 2002 All-Star Game.)
So today we pay tribute to Philadelphia circa 2001, which is the last time we can remember the Sixers being hot. We dug up this file picture which features Larry Brown and Allen Iverson sharing a rare moment of "brotherly love." They're joined by a few of our other favorites from the team that went all the way to the Finals. For more up-to-date information on the Sixers, hip-hop over to their NBA Preview at Passion & Pride.

Deek as the Cookie Monster...Classic!
you're blog is great! the cartoons are hysterical...
No luv for Eric Snow? That cat was tough!
No luv for Aaron McKie 6th man of the year? He was on point!
No luv for Theo Ratliff? He was like team S.W.A.T. before the Sixers traded him.
I'm seriously doubting your hoops roots. (Haha, just kidding)
Seriously, as much as I love your blog, I'm disturbed by the lack of love for Aaron "Quiet Storm"/"Smooth Jazz" McKie. Mostly because his game was quiet storm, but a lil' bit because his look was as well.
